When Bueno Chexinic competes, he creates a symphony of beauty and grace expected in the world of reining and working cow horse, proving his ability and versatility over and over again. He stands tall to his reputation as one of the best of the new millennium stallions destined to reign over a new dynasty of champions.

Owned by Snowy Range Ranch, located in the heart of the Old West, Bueno Chexinic makes his home 22 miles outside Laramie, Wyoming, in a new state-of-the-art arena and breeding facility erected in 1999. Owners Dave and Linda Durbano are dedicated to making sure the legacy of this great athlete and talented champion lives on to emerge as an American legend.

Watching Bueno Chexinic is like watching poetry in motion; a gifted combination of athleticism and professionalism which flows so naturally from a long line of championship breeding. Sired by Reminic out of Bueno Chex Kaweah, his inspiring bloodlines also include Bueno Chex, Doc's Remedy, Doc Bar and King Fritz, all represented on his registration papers. His impeccable pedigree is fully accentuated by his stunning athletic conformation. Equally as important for a sire is a beautiful head, as well as a calm temperament, keen disposition and show ring presence which rounds out his athletic prowess.

Complementing his pedigree is his performance record. Starting his career in 1995, Bueno Chexinic placed third in the NRCHA Open Snaffle Bit Futurity and was the fourth leading cow horse. In 1996, he was the Lazy E Ride of Life Open Champion, placed second at the Southwest Summer Slide and took fifth at the NRHA Open Derby. He also placed third at the AQHA World in junior reining. Bueno Chexinic was the 1997 AQHA Congress Champion and finished fourth at the AQHA World in senior reining in 1998. He won the limited open at the Dixie Nationals in 2000 and in mid-November, Todd Bergen rode Bueno Chexinic to an eighth place finish in senior reining. He made his last competitive ride under Steve Schwartzenberger at the National Western Livestock and Horse Show in Denver, Colo. in 2001, capturing the Pre-Denver Show, National Western and National Western Circuit Open Championships before retiring to begin his siring career.

Watching him perform and compete is truly music to one's senses as he brings perfection to his sport. Success in both cow horse and reining competition have been a hallmark for Bueno Chexinic, but the final legacy of a great stallion rests not in his personal accomplishments, but those of his offspring. Bueno Chexinic's get have finally entered the show arena and have built a prestigious reputation for themselves and Bueno Chexinic as a sire. Please review the incredible accomplishments of his get, already proving him to be a world-class sire.

As a sire, Bueno Chexinic is standing at the Sol de la Montana in Vista Santa Rosa, CA. Snowy Range Ranch also owns and stands 1998 APHA World Champion Sonnys Amigo Bar, a 1996 black tobiano.

One cannot help but wonder what the next generation of horses will bring in the Laramie Valley. Bueno Chexinic's ancestors helped transform a continent; they pulled the wagon trains that settled the West and enabled native tribes the power to hunt successfully. They gave their riders the freedom on speed, yet brought comfort to the cowboy on a lonely trail. One can only hope the next generation of horses will still help one get where he's going, whether it is physical or spiritual.

Bueno Chexinic has the style, temperament, pedigree, and show record to favorably enhance an accomplished breeding program and impart his remarkable qualities to the next generation of champions.
